THROUGH GROUNDED CONNECTION

Yarrow offers Natural Lifemanship as a model for Trauma Informed Equine Assisted Services (TI-EAS) which includes, Trauma Informed Equine Assisted Learning (TI-EAL) and Trauma Informed Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (TI- EAP). We also specialize in supporting caregivers through Trauma Informed Equine Assisted Restorative Parenting (TI-EARP). Through these offerings, Yarrow provides both equines and humans with opportunities to support one another in strengthening the quality of connection in our day to day lives.

Step Two- Choose which Offering will best support you on your journey

Our Services

  • Trauma Informed Equine Assisted Learning (TI-EAL)

For clients who are looking for an embodied experience to help strengthen the quality of connection in their daily lives. TI-EAL is a wonderful fit for those who are noticing relational patterns, or ways of responding to stress, that may no longer be serving them and are seeking to shift these patterns.

TI-EAL can also provide clients who have their own horse, an opportunity to deepen their understanding and awareness regarding consent, dual attunement, and experience a higher quality of connection in their relationship together through a more secure attachment.

  • Trauma Informed Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (TI-EAP)

For clients who are seeking counseling services due to chronic stress, grief and/or trauma, and are drawn to a therapeutic process that is relational, experiential and nature based. TI-EAP is focused more on movement and integration, versus traditional talk therapy. TI-EAP is available for children, teens, adults and families.

When serving children, I approach the therapeutic process through a Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) model, where the strength is the relationship that child and parent share, versus the focus being solely on the child.

  • Trauma Informed Equine Assisted Restorative Parenting (TI-EARP)

For parents and caregivers who are seeking to create trusted pathways to deepen, maintain and sustain connection when their stress response is activated. TI-EARP can support parents and caregivers in experiencing and nurturing a more secure attachment, through a connected relationship with an equine partner- creating long lasting, generational shifts. Together, we will strengthen a developmental lens and neurobiological understanding, to support the parallel process of healing.

TI-EARP offers the deepest forms of nourishment and self-care for parents and caregivers through somatic embodiment.

Held and Nourished through Connection

We hold in reverence your life’s journey. Just as our journeys are unique, so too is our growth and healing. Because of this, we seek to offer a variety of paths that will nourish you and best meet your current needs.

Our Offerings

  • Sessions are often 90 minutes (as traditional 50-60 minute sessions are not as adequate for equine assisted services). Weekly or bi-weekly sessions allow for clients to continue processing and noticing in between sessions. This offering provides continued support as neuropathways for connection are deepening and integrating.

  • This offering provides an introduction and opportunity to begin applying Natural Lifemanship’s relational principles experientially with the herd. These workshops can be offered individually or in a group model. Workshops are offered in both half-day (three hours) and full day (6 hours) format.

Sometimes, some participants choose to follow up with one on one sessions to further deepen their practice and continue their learning and/or healing journey.

  • For those who are seeking to journey deeper and be immersed in the somatic experience of creating a connected relationship with an equine partner. Retreats are designed as 2-5 day format and provide a holistic, nourishing experience for individuals, families or groups.

An immersion experience is a wonderful way to prioritize one’s healing and learning journey as it allows for a more concentrated time to deepen somatic embodiment for creating and sustaining neuropathways for connection and moving towards a more secure attachment.

For those who are traveling for retreats, telehealth sessions are available for follow up as clients continue to apply principles and notice internal shifts in their day to day life and relational patterns.
